About Bioliving by Design

Dr Fiona Gray is a registered architect and Living Future Accredited practitioner. She is the Director of Bioliving by Design, a consultancy dedicated to improving wellbeing in homes, schools, and workplaces though the application of biophilic design and building biology principles. Biophilic design aims to strengthen the connection between people and nature in architectural spaces, while building biology is a complementary field that takes a holistic view of how built environments affect human health. Her diverse executive experience spans roles such as CEO of the national not-for-profit sustainable living organisation Renew, City Design lead in local government, and Adjunct Associate Professor in Urban Design and Ecologies at Deakin University. Central to Fiona's work is an unwavering commitment to creating sustainable, healthy, and equitable built environments that prioritise the wellbeing of both people and the planet.
