The cellular version of our advanced R3 sensor is almost here, due to be released in early October 2022. And with a Telstra-network SIM built in at factory and all data for the first year included, you can just set and forget!
It provides accurate and affordable tank level monitoring anywhere there is Telstra coverage, using the dedicated low power, wide area NB-IoT network. The fully sealed sensor unit uses a non-contact radar sensor to measure tank levels with millimeter accuracy, to ensure years of trouble free operation.
Our R3 sensors are housed inside a robust polycarbonate enclosure with an IP68 weatherproof rating to ensure it can stand up to the elements. Powered by 3 x AA Lithium batteries, the sensor requires no external power and provides intelligent battery monitoring via the mobile app.
This sensor can be used with a variety of tank types and shapes - installation requires a 30mm hole to be drilled in the tank lid / roof (at least 100mm above the water height). A single sensor can be used to monitor multiple tanks that are connected and have a common level.
