AlumiGard™, a roofing product is made of marine grade aluminium alloy. It is designed to be used in the most severe environmental condition (atmospheric classification C1-C5l and C5M). The substrate is an aluminium alloy type 5005 OR 5052 marine grade, H34 or H36 temper.
The product is pre-treated with a corrosion resistant chromate conversion coating and primed with a flexible corrosion resistant chromated primer with nominal film thickness of 7μ± 1μ on the top side and 5μ±1μ on the reverse. The finish is completed with a flexible exterior acrylic, polyester or modified coating.
